That is... such a SPECIAL kind of awful that it manages to go 'round the horn into "I want one just for the giggle factor."
Say what you will about the company's design... philosophy their products are far from generic-blastron4500's.There seems to be an... earnestness, deluded as it may be, to their designs.
I just can't take it seriously. Calling it The Lady's Home Companion is like calling a big man Tiny; it's so obviously satire. A .45-70 pistol? Clearly this is designed for burly he-men, so naturally we'll give it a dainty name just for S&Gs.
It *is* a 8lb revolver in 45-70.It does seem like something out of an 80's action movie.That said... *if* they did honestly think this was some "housewife gun" then that shows a mode of thinking that's less human and more alien-infiltrators-studying-Earthlings.
